Just want to say first off I am very very impressed with this message board... it makes Ancestry's look archaic (sp??).

I have a question on how to post photos. I just posted to the NorthEast board and when I added my photo I chose to include them in the message (as this seems rather necessary??!). Anyway after I finally got them uploaded (darn dial-up) and added I previewed my posting. The photos were embedded in the post ... which made it a large file as each photo (six of them) had to download. I figured this was the only way to do it, so I posted the post. Now it seems the photos are before and after the message, plus the message text didn't wrap so it is a rather cumbersome thing to look at and read.

Is there a better way to post photos? And is there a way to go back in and fix the message after it has been posted?? huh.gif

P.S. sorry for bothering you Jim. I found this place to post my question after I had PM'd you. wallbash.gif

there are two ways to post pictures here, if you have them loaded somewhere like photobucket or flickr you and use the IMG tag to post them and I will make a tutorial about that, or you can attach them to the post. Dont worry if they are too big, part of what I will be doing is keeping an eye on photos and I will resize and reattach them to your post if they are too big.

there is definately a way to edit your posts once you make them. At the bottom of the post on the right hand side you will see a button that says +edit, if you click that, you can change your post smile.gif
