My Grandmother, Nancy Pearl Inman was married to Randolph Sandlin. She was the daughter of James Riley Inman and Nancy Jane Gibson. They lived in Massey, Alabama.(Morgan County) Does anyone have any information on this family's lineage? I knew several of Grandmother's brothers and sisters: Richard, Leticia (Tish) Elizabeth (Lizzie)Thursie, (Penn) Molly, Mildred,(Callaway) etc. I have pictures of the family, including James R. Dressed in a Civil War uniform. I also have pictures (actually tin types) of people I don't know such as perhaps Joshua, his father, etc. Anyone interested?
I traced the Sandlin line back to Scotland around 1300, to Sir James Sandilands, who was married to Lady Jean Stewart, Grandaughter of "Robert the Bruce." Thanks. Her real name was Alberta Sanderlin, she was married 3 times -- to Eddie Inman, James Stanley Newell, and Frank E. Warren. According to the CA Death Index, Alberta Sanderlin Warren died on 15 Dec 1945 in Los Angeles County. |
