In the Bloomfield News, Greene County, IN, on April 11, 1901 - "Jim Inman and family reached North Dakota safely and are well pleased with the country. They sold their farm near Koleen, IN, and moved to ND". Then on April 18, 1901 (the same paper) - "James Inman of Koleen arrived at Church's Ferry, ND on April 2nd. He will farm 300 acres this year. They are happy with the country in ND".
Church's Ferry is about 50 miles South of Canada, at the junction of US 2 and US 281. Does anyone have information on this family? He may be the son of Thomas Inman (b. 1824) and Nancy Corbin from Koleen, Greene Co., IN. Any Inman's from North Dakota in this line?
